Our preference is to catch up either in person or over video call to chat over expectations before we secure your booking.

Our couples are often low key people who aren't imagining a big glamorous wedding. Often, it's intimate backyard ceremonies in places that are special to them. (We do of course shoot at venues too!)

We work with couples who are looking for authentic memories captured of them but without loads of intrusive technology, hence we keep our set up pretty minimal— using only what we need to tell your story.

Most of our couples will tell us they aren't good in front of the camera, but the truth is, everyone does a fab job especially when they're with their safe person. Our couples don't want to look like people you'll see on the cover of Vogue, they want to recognise who they see in their photos.

You'll see our style across our website and socials, but to put it into words: it's bright, green-toned and vintage-vibed. Like something you'd see off a film camera! We mix documentary with direction, giving direction where needed (and wanted). If you'd prefer less time posing in front of the camera, you'll get no pressure from us.

For our films, as many others, we have gravitated towards vintage-styled wedding films that have a more hand-held feel. While we do always have a gimbal with us (which creates stable shots) and we often use this in parts of the day, most of our footage is shot hand-held.

This gives a more "authentic" old camcorder style, but with the high quality you'd expect from modern cameras. We feel this adds a more personal touch and contributes to the emotion of the video.

We don't believe that your wedding should be a movie set, or that your day should look like a cover of Vogue. We like to capture the raw and funny moments, adding a bit of humor to remember your loved ones for who they are. If you're looking for a wedding film that makes your day look like a fairytale, then we're not the ones for you.

A highlight film is a curated, cinematic recap of your wedding day that captures the most meaningful and memorable moments in a beautifully edited story.

Rather than showing the entire day in real time, a highlight film weaves together the best moments — both the typical key moments from a wedding day as well as moments you'd like us to prioritise — into a carefully crafted film set to music.

The goal is to capture the feeling and story of the day, not just document it. Audio such as vows, speeches, or special words from the ceremony may be included to add depth and emotion, while music helps create the overall tone and pacing. We give our couples the option as to whether they want any audio from their day included.

Most highlight films are around 3–6 minutes long, making them easy to watch, share with loved ones, and relive the energy and emotion of your wedding day.

Our ceremony coverage aims to be as non-intrusive as possible, but still allowing you to have a video memory of your whole ceremony.

We use two cameras. One which is placed on a tripod to record the ceremony in full, where we input the audio and that will be delivered to you as a raw copy for your memories. Please note, this is shot in 1080p and is only intended for your keepsake, the footage from this camera isn't used in your highlight film.

The second camera is hand-held allowing us to move freely throughout the ceremony and camera different angles, close ups and wide shots.

For audio, we typically place one mic on the celebrant or the celebrants notebook/iPad and a lapel mic on the groom. This allows us the proximity to capture both of your audio, without expecting the bride to wear it. The grooms microphone is always well hidden.

Raw speech coverage is optional and available at the request of our couples. This is captured by a camera placed on a tripod to record the speeches in full, including the audio. Please note, this is shot in 1080p and is only intended for your keepsake, the footage from this camera isn't used in your highlight film. These are not curated videos and are just for your keepsake, and we offer these free of charge.

We do this as we may choose to include audio snippets from your speeches in your final highlight film.

We use a OneMusic Domestic Use Video Licence, which permits the use of music for private, domestic viewing only. This enables us to use most popular commercially released music. Your video will be stored in an online password-protected gallery where you are able to share the link directly with friends and family.

This licence does not permit public sharing to online platforms such as Instagram or Facebook, however we can assist our clients in the process to use the specific platforms music library so they are able to share the video still, just without their original chosen songs.

We assist all of our photography and videography clients with building a timeline that suits them. We know how things typically go, and how long things take, so we will often give you a draft timeline suggestion when you first with book us, to assist you in forming your plans around that.

We deliver a Timeline Guide that includes information about what to consider and how much time to bake in, and usually around 3 months before the wedding we will jump on a call or meet in person to discuss the finer details.
